BAGHOUSE COLLECTORS
The dust is collected on the outside of the filter bags. At regular intervals, a burst of metered compressed air is injected through the PULSE collector parabolic velocity stacks to dislodge the agglomerated dust which falls into the hopper. Maximum filtering efficiency is attained by using top quality needled felt media of appropriate weight and construction. a full range of natural and synthetic felts are available to suit specific requirements; fibreglass, polyester, nylon, Nomex, etc. All bags are accessed from the top of baghouse collectors, eliminating the need for dirty side entry to change and service bags.
The dust ladden air enters the collector through the side that incorporates a vertical deflector plate. Once inside the dust accumulates on the surface of the bag filter creating a surface cake. Reverse blasts of air are introduced at specific intervals, cleaning the bag surface and sending the debris towards the hopper. This unit utilizes venturis to accelerate the blast into the bag creating a more efficient cleaning. Air pollution caused by dust emissions is a serious problem for most industries. Industrial hygiene must be given more attention now that its relation to worker health has been clearly established. The principle of bag filtration is recognized as the safest and most efficient for dust collection. AIREX Industries has been designing and manufacturing bag type dust collectors for many years.
Pulse dust collectors have many advantages which include them operating with constant pressure drop controlled with an electronic adjustable timer. Pulse dust collectors also have reduced maintenance due to few mechanical parts and have the ability to operate with very high grain loading, up to 100 grains per cubic foot. The Airex Industries downdraft table is designed for many industrial applications, including the removal and filtration of dust, smoke and other airborne pollutants. Hazardous materials are removed before reaching the worker breathing zone. Reverse pulse self cleaning requires virtually no maintenance while prolonging filter life and units efficiency. This unit complies with environmental clean air regulations.
Airex Industries has a full line of equipment such as dust collectors, industrial blowers, and centrifugal separators, to meet the criteria, norms, and given conditions of any project. Our technical team will know how to solve the different problems related to air quality filtration and recirculation, as well as systems that exhaust to atmosphere. The Airex Industries DCCH cartridge collector series distance themselves with the ability to filter highly contaminated air volumes while remaining extremely compact. The cartridges are combined with an efficient self-cleaning system of compressed air allowing the filtration of sub-micronics dust particles in a continuous operation and with a constant differential pressure loss. Our DCCH cartridge collector series includes sealed mechanisms and access doors for easy access and requires no tools to carry out the change of filter cartridges. A cyclone dust collector is frequently used as product receivers, as pre-cleaners to high efficiency fabric-type dust collectors, or as independent collectors for coarse dusts.
Three cyclone dust collector designs are offered in order to best meet the application's requirements. The GP series is designed for economical first cost and is currently used for general purposes. The HE series is tuned to obtain a higher efficiency in more critical applications. The HF series is used in high flow applications in order have a more compact configuration. The Airex Industries Model CI Dust Collector is ideally suited for schools or small industrial applications where large volume or air are required for relatively small amounts of dust collected. This unit is primarily designed for limited ceiling height installations.
The material storage area and the secondary filtration section are accessible through large access doors which allow for easy material removal and filter maintenance of the unit. The Model CI dust collector is part of the CE series of dust collectors and designed by Airex Industries in which standardized construction methods and parts are used to create a highly efficient unit and still maintain a low cost.
